1935 - Hupmobile - 517W gray sedan $19,500.00 This car has been restored recently, and has the original engine and drivetrain. The radiator has been replaced with one from a 1934 Ford. It has the original guages and dash panel, and a new old stock steering wheel. The paint is tungsten gray metalic, with black metalic fenders, all in a modern basecoat clearcoat. These cars are very rare, with only about a dozen still running. The main body was built by Murray and is the same as a 1934 Ford sedan. The doors, windshield, and interior seats are the same as the Ford. The guages are a little different than a Ford, just a little more elegant. The rear of the body is a little longer and more streamlined than the Ford, and the fenders are bigger and heavier. The engine is a 6 cylinder inline. The Hupmobile was only offered in a four door sedan or two door coupe. They have a 117 inch wheelbase compared to 112 inches for the Ford. I have a lot of history available on this car, and some fun stories about how the car was found and restored. It has a current South Dakota title, and has been in the same family in South Dakota since it was new.
