1961 - Jeep - mail van blue mail van $6800.00 This little mail van is an original 2 wheel drive jeep with the right hand drive for mail delivery. It is currently disassembled, with a complete restoration and reconstruction as a street rod well under way. A lot of the sheet metal work has been done, and the frame set up for a Mustang II front suspension. It is being set up for small Ford late model 4 cylinder engine with a C3 automatic transmission. A Currie 9 inch narrowed rear axle has been installed in a rectangular tube rear stub, with a parallel leaf system from chassis engineering, and a new front stub frame has been constructed for the Mustang II front. A Heidt's crossmember and one piece lower control arms are in place. The body has been stripped and most repairs have been made on the sheet metal.
