Sedan Black 2door $6900.00 This is a survivor car, an excellent, original, solid 2 door Model A sedan. The engine runs good, and there is no rust ever in any of the body panels. The steering box is good, and the car drives and steers well. The brakes work, but need to be freshened. It even has a good original muffler! The original wires are deteriorated, so it needs a new wiring harness. The original generator still works. The original canvas roof insert has been replaced with steel, it looks like it was done many years ago. The seats were reupholstered many years ago, and are in very good condition! They have a heavy duty cloth with a floral pattern, probably done in the 1940s or 1950s. The original wooden floorboard inserts are still in place. The original speedometer still works, but needs a new glass. The original windshield is still good, with no cracks. The windows are broken in both doors. The car was originally painted black, most of the paint is weathered off the outside of the body, but the dash panel and firewall are still black. The tires are fair, and still hold air. The original gas tank does not leak, and the fuel shut off still works good. The original ignition switch has a key that does not turn good, so I put a toggle switch in as a temporary switch. The original is still in the car also, just needs to be connected. The horn button and light switch appear to be in good condition, just need new wires. The original headlights still have the fluted lenses. Thanks for looking, Dan Sloat, 22550 Smokey Ridge Road, Rapid City, South Dakota 57702. Email: oldcars48@msn.com Phone: 605-343-7508 |
