1948 - Ford - Red F1 half ton $21,500.00 This truck started as a solid no rust original pickup, and is a frame off rebuild with a 302 Ford V8, C4 automatic transmission, Nine inch rear with 3.50 gears. The springs have new bushings and shackles, and teflon strips between the leafs. Two leafs were taken out of each spring to give a much improved ride. It has new kingpins, and new brakes. The glass and all rubbers and seals are new. The seat has very good condition original springs and new black high quality cloth upholstry. All original guages and speedometer are rebuilt and are in new condition. The frame was sandblasted and painted gloss urethane black. The front fenders are new high quality fiberglass, The rear fenders are the original steel fenders and are in perfect condition. The entire electrical system is new, including the wiring. It is 12 volt with a new alternator. The paint is 1969 Ford pickup Candy Apple red. It is a very high quality single stage urethane enamel. All the near perfect original sheet metal, including the cab and doors, were sandblasted and painted inside and out, after first being prepped and sprayed with a high quality urethane primer. There was no rust ever in the floors or anywhere in the cab or box. The underside of the cab is coated with a high quality rubberized undercoating and sound deadner, also the same red color as the exterior paint. It will soon have new bumpers front and rear. The original grill is in perfect condition. All the original stainless trim pieces, including door handles, have been polished. This truck is a very nice driver that has been restored with a great deal of care and detail. It has a good current South Dakota title.
